My name is Jack Chambers and I am the Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin West.

I was appointed as Junior Healthcare Spokesperson with a focus on Community and the National Drugs Strategy. Also I sit on the Dáil Justice Committee. I have an active input in scrutinising legislation and providing amendments. This is an important part of parliamentary oversight.

Here in Dublin West I continue to call on many homes and act on the representations I receive from constituents.

This Dublin West Constituency covers the following areas:

Blanchardstown, Castleknock, Navan Road Area, Mulhuddart, Clonsilla, Carpenterstown, Hartstown Lucan North, Castaheaney, Ongar, Tyrrelstown, Corduff, Mountview.

I was born in Galway to Mayo parents and at the age of two moved to Dublin West where I grew up and went to school.
At an early age, I took a keen interest in economic and public affairs. I hold an honours degree in Law and Political Science from Trinity College and have studied medicine at RCSI. At the 2014 local elections, I was elected at the head of the poll in Fingal County Council. I have also served as the Deputy Mayor. It is a great honour and privilege to represent the people of Dublin West in Dáil Éireann.
