Jack Chambers, the Fianna Fáil Area Representative for the Castleknock Electoral Area, has stated,
Dublin 15 has both a young and growing population. The demand for school places is increasing as evidenced by the 2011 census and there is pressure on all primary and secondary schools to facilitate this demand. There have been significant improvements in the infrastructure of schools in Dublin 15 in recent years but challenges remain. I will work with all schools and stakeholders in our community to progress educational opportunity and to highlight pressing local educational issues.
Jack Chambers has welcomed the recent announcement of the reallocation of funding for Castleknock Community College’s Sports Hall and Extension after it had been previously excluded from the Government’s Five Year School Building Program. Jack attended and spoke at the recent Public Meeting on Thursday May 18th organised by Castleknock Community College’s Parent’s Association on the absolute importance of the proposed project.
